About the Sessions

Free and open to anyone in the Kits to Heart community, these drop-in card-making sessions are guided by Liz Ahmann, a registered nurse, cancer survivor, and health/wellness coach who is a multimedia artist, photographer, and trained SoulCollage® facilitator.

The focus of the sessions is on community art-making in a shared virtual space, creative expression, and using our art to contribute to the well-being of others. Cancer survivors welcome! Participants can drop in for however long they are able.

The fall session will loosely focus on decorating cards using collage, and the first several minutes of each session will provide some tips, but participants can spend time decorating cards in any way they wish with any materials they have on hand.

Decorated cards can include an inspiring or meaningful message and can be sent to Kits to Heart (see mailing instructions here) after each session, or series of sessions, to be included in our cancer care kits shared with cancer patients and caregivers.

Suggested Materials

  • Blank cards or white cardstock
  • Glue stick (re-stickable is handy for moving pieces)
