Pillowcases for Cancer Patients

Help sew comfortable pillowcases for cancer patients of all ages. Our goal is to bring comfort and brightness to hospital rooms and treatment spaces—and as Madam Sew puts it, help "reduce the fear and stress associated with a hospital stay and [remind recipients] they are not defined by their illness."

Priorities

• 100% cotton fabric that is pre-washed—please do not use scented detergents, dryer sheets, or fabric softeners
• Patterns and colors should be suitable for patients of all ages and genders, applicable at any time of the year (this means no references to holidays, please).
• Standard pillowcase size of 30 x 20 inches.

We Do Not Accept

• Toddler pillowcases
• Flannel fabric
• Fabric with glitter or skulls
• Any fabric with religious themes or words
