Carefully crafted origami is such a crucial part of what makes our cancer care kits special. Patients truly appreciate the handcrafted items and beauty of the origami!

Origami, especially the crane, symbolizes hope, healing, and recovery. The story of Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes has popularized the crane as a symbol of peace and hope in the face of illness. Moreover, the transformation of a simple piece of paper into a beautiful creation can symbolize resilience and the ability to find beauty and strength in challenging situations.

Patterns and colors may be repeated, though please feel free to be creative in making your pieces!
