Food and Supply Drive

Help us gather supplies needed to help patients through their cancer treatments. As with our other opportunities, the items contributed will be included in our cancer care kits that are delivered nationwide to those undergoing cancer treatments.

IMPORTANT: We do NOT accept pre-packed kits or bags. If you choose to assemble kits on your own, please donate them directly to hospitals. We only accept collection drive items themselves, which we will then pack into our own care kits.

• Tissue packs
• Liquid IV hydration packs or flavored water enhancer

• Ginger chews (to help reduce nausea)

Getting Started

To organize a food and supply drive for Kits to Heart’s recipients, please follow these steps:

1. Decide on a few locations and times to allow people to drop off items. Consider reaching out to local businesses, schools, and other organizations to help. Download a one-page flyer about us to print and share!
2. Share your collection drive using text, email, Facebook, Nextdoor, and other channels that work best for you. Let people know why you are holding this drive, and where and how they can contribute.
3. Motivate people to donate by sending reminders about the deadlines and setting goals for the items collected and the number of participants!
4. (Optional) Share a photo on social media and tag @kitstoheart! Show off your work in action!
5. Deliver the items collected. After your drive is over, please stop by to leave items at the front door at any time, or mail them to us! The address: 6941 Crossfield Ct. Clarksville, MD 21029.
